Deleting old attachments?

I've got 15 pages of attachments, I was going to clean out some of the old ones, but when I check them and then hit delete, nothing happens.

Help?

First of all, why do you even want to remove them? Aren't they an important part of your posts? What if someone searches and clicks on one of your old posts and a critical image is missing? Or am I misunderstanding something?

As for the attachments not being removed - you are talking about forum posts, right? As you can see from my previous post, which has no image attached, images are removable. Click, "Edit" on your post, then click on the "Upload Photos" button, as if you were going to upload a photo. Click on the "Remove" button, close the upload window - and then make sure to [i]click the "Save Changes" button." I'm guessing you missed that last step.

I was refering to the section titled attachments, that is in your user control thingy.


The reason I was looking is because I was at another site having to delete because I was out of space. Each member gets x amount of space, and when that is full, you either have to remove some, or you can't add anymore. I figured 15 pages, I was probably almost full.

Do we not have space confinements? Can I have unlimited photos?

Right now there's no limit. So don't worry about it. Worry about it if and when we decide we need to put a limit on the attachments. We want you to share photos on the forums.
