Would it be possible to have the background a neutral gray instead of the bright white? - TF

How come? Is there a problem with the white? I don't think it can be changed. There's probably a lot more than you realize that goes into a layout like this. But I'm curious about why you'd like it different.

It's just so bright and I maybe images would look better against a more neutral background. I thought maybe it was just a color box that could easily be changed??? - TF

It's in the style sheets, I tried saving the html of a page and changing it, John's right it's not easy.
Sometimes the white background isn't the best for displaying photos against.
