    Nikon D7000 Flash Warning

I have been using D7000 + Nikon 35mm DX f1.8G . I have noticing that I am getting a flash warning sign almost always in "A" mode even though the scene seems quite lighted up. The shot comes ok even if I ignore the flash warning sign. In the "Auto Mode" the flash pops up. I am using "auto iso senssitvity". wandering if I am doing anything wrong. Please help

    Re: Nikon D7000 Flash Warning

No you are not doing anything wrong. In Auto mode, if the camera senses that the scene needs flash it will pop the flash up and fire it for you. In 'A', or Aperture mode, as it is known the flash cannot automatically pop up so the camera will give you a warning that flash may be needed to light the scene correctly. You can simply ignore this if you wish, but the camera senses a lack of light. In these cases consider, lowering the shutter speed or opening the aperture more. You could raise the ISO too, but as you shoot on Auto ISO, that is not an option without changing that.
