    Raod America VSCDA

Spent some time at Road America last weekend with some vintage auto racing. This is my first effort at shooting auto racing and my first outing with the new Sony A77 with EVF. The camera is wonderful and he EVF is at least as good as the OVF. All were taken with the Sony 70-400 f/4.5-5.6 SSM G. I'll need some help with IDs.

TR-4, and Bugatti Type 35! Worth probably a couple of million. Great shots. I've always loved that Jordan, great looking car. I saw some rich old git driving a Benetton of that era at Road Atlanta a few years ago, it pained me to see the car being driven so poorly. :-D

I would find a pic of that Benetton, but since my print library was "organized" by that woman who no longer lives here, I can't find anything. I don't mean I can't find the right pics in the box/album/pages/whatever, I mean I can't find them. No $^%#%ing clue where any of my film is!!!!! I'm only just discovering how big a disaster this is, as I knew she'd gone through stuff and pulled prints out, separated prints from negative packages, tossed contact sheets as "useless," but apparently the stuff she didn't want no longer even exists......
But I digress..... The Benetton at the 2006 Mitty we went to was a '94, I think. Mild Seven, with yellow Bittburger on the sides. If my feeble memory serves. AND I CAN'T FIND MY PICTURES!!!!!!

I had forgotten you'd gone to the Mitty with me... And last week I posted that pic of the Chevy prototype sparking down the back straight, which reminded me of us standing there for half an hour trying to get that shot. Just think what my memory's going to be like when I'm old like you.

TR-3. It's hard for me to tell from this angle the specifics of it, there were a couple or three versions, but it's a TR-3.
