Trial shots with my imperfect Vivitar 28mm f2.8

The lens does not stop down so there is no depth of field and the f-stop doesn't work. (I bid on another one on E-Bay (glutten for punishment that I am)).
    But it still takes pictures.

    Hi Don,

Well, I am pleasantly surprised viewing your images. I hope you take this in a positive way, but these images make me think of some of the results I get using an in-camera filter with my Olympus EP-3. I actually love using the filters as they really produce some nice results. Most of them do not distort the image, but they add a certain artistic quality to it. I sometimes choose the pop-art filter because I often like the image more than what I can get playing with the settings.

Being the artist that you are, I can see why you like these. I enjoyed viewing them.

I especially like the first one.

    Thanks for sharing!

    Liz
