    Frost

Sun sets and the temperature drops even further. The fjord has frosen solid as winter has given temperature below 30 several times. The sun still struggles to rise high in the sky, but at least its back!

I like the photo. but i think the effect is a little too strong. I would love to see a half way between this and a toned down version. But the scene is beautiful. Lovely place, even though I know I would hate the cold!

This is a phenomenal shot! I'm surprised that there aren't more comments but seeing as it's a critique board I guess there's not really anything to improve here. Really breathtaking colors and just...wow.

I like it, but find the extreme saturation off-putting. If it were mine, I'd try to tone it down and not overwhelm it's starkly dramatic nature.

Scapegrace - this board acts a little funky and makes double posts all on its own sometimes.

I'm very much with LeeIs and Iguana on this, the effect is overwhelming. The exposure and framing is really cool, but the saturation and contrast gives too false of an appearance. When I see this, I don't think "wow! It really looked like that!" I think "He played with the colors". On landscape scenery, I prefer to feel like I'm looking at its natural, as it was color. I think the vignette overlay also contributes to its false-looking color.
