    Photo to illustration

    Thought I'd try something a little different with this one, I have tried to convert a photo to an illustration style image. This is the result plus the origional image.

    Thanks Don and Liban, This shot of a jet engine compressor stage seemed particually suitable as it had lots of sharp edges

    As an ex technical illustrator, this sure beats drawing by hand. :thumbsup:

    Thanks for the comments guys , I'm trying to remember my work flow with this one, I did this on Pixelmator but now I'm attempting the same on PS when I get it sorted I'll post the technique.

    Very cool stuff Pete, I've done similar with CAD programs, though the results were not as good as this, I'd be really interested in hearing the workflow once you get it wired as well. Great work!
