    Night football with the D3s and High iso

    Shot with the D3s, 400mm f2.8 and 200mm f2. All are at 5000 and 8000 iso.

    I always forget to take shots of the sidelines. Got one finally.




    one last one. Not a great IQ shot. Got it by accident, just love the subject.

    I really like the double facemask with the ref in the background. Amazing performance out of an amazing camera body/lens setup.

    Did you do any noise filtering in post?

    thanks, I did use Noise Ninja, but it was more out of habit than real need. The shots were pretty awesome right out of the camera.

    I still marvel at what can be done with the new Nikon bodies at high ISO's. You did a wonderful job with those very high speed images. that last action shot of the reception is great. Nice shooting.
    Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??
