    Big Trees Grove

I went hiking at "Big Trees Grove" and shot these last week. There are only six of these giant Sequoia's in this forest. Trying to capture there size was more difficult than I had planned. I have never really tries shooting trees. Any critiques appreciated.

I like the first one the best. You really have a large DOF in this shot, Jeff

Thanks Jeff. I was hoping for overcast skies to help with the lighting. Instead it was patchy clouds. Super bright spots and dark spots on the same tree made the exposure tough for me. Gives me a reason to go back I suppose
