lightning from out of my window

I think I triggered my camera 100+ times to get this during one of our doozy t-storms the other night...had my camera stuck out of the window. A good part of the left corner was my overhang, but I was able to get it out pretty quick with some content aware fill.

    Cheater!

I have mixed feelings about Content Aware Fill - especially when it's used to remove or replce things that were actually in the frame.

This is a cool photo. I don't think I've ever taken a good lightning photo so I always enjoy them. Have you tried cropping from the top and right? There's a lot of empty space in this photo. I think tightening it up would strengthen it.

Thanks for making the effort and sharing the results

    Nice shot,

I have no problem removing stuff.

I'd crop to the lower left and remove the lamp post and wires

    Cheers, Don

Thanks for the c&c. I'm sure there's a lot I could do with it, and did play with it more, I was just excited to get the bolt. The rest was secondary.
