    Rocktower

Had to make do with harsh light as no chance of going back near sunset

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...

I am sure that is the best you can do with the lighting, at least you had some great clouds. Maybe add just a little contrast? I would like to see a square crop. Cut off just a little of the right side.
Have you tried a high contrast B&W? I like the photo as is just giving you some ideas to try

I think it is very good , no matter the light, I can easily imagine a watchman on the top

good color, a bit more contrast I'm sure will help

I like it, but I don't really agree about the lighting comment. Sure, if you want it to look natural, you got a very good exposure, but raw and blending would let you change the nature of the exposure quite a lot...

I think you have a very nice shot here. The observations that I would make are that it needs a little more room at the top. Add just a touch of contrast and crop some off the right side, Jeff

    Re: Rocktower

My only critique is, like Jeff says, it needs more room at the top.
I'm afraid I think it is more than just a little though.

Thanks for the input all, I only have a basic editing program with me on this trip so I'll wait till I get home and have another look at this.
