From an outdoor shoot yesterday. Shot this with ambient light.

    Excellent.

I was thinking that cropping in from the right for a really tight comp might be good, but this is wonderful as is.

Wish I had models like this to shoot!

EDIT: Would LOVE to see this as a nicely-processed b/w.

To me, those eye lashes really conflict with the 'outdoor' look. - Terry

Very nice. Again, it's about the "story" for me. Personally, I like the eyelashes, it gives the photo a certain uniqueness and add to the story.

The lashes add, IMO. The very first thought I had when I saw this image was "Federico Erra" (never a bad sign). He often places heavily made-up models in incongruously bucolic/natural settings, always to good effect.

Do you have any of her looking at the camera?

The heavier lashes were due in part to a slightly more formal shoot we were doing. This pose was just an afterthought idea we came up with so if you have the time, take the shots. This is another snap from the shoot.

Aha. Context is everything! I like the second shot, too. But the first is just fantastic - one to be proud of. There are probably things you could do in PP to add to the inherent drama, but I'm not sure what they'd be just yet.

    Great stuff.

Beautiful shot fidgety! I would consider punching up the vibrancy a bit though...

The only nit I would have would be, that some people like the stray hair cleaned up in PP, but I think that in this setting it is not out of contex. She is a beautiful model, and both shots do her justice, but I like the first slightly more.
