Wow - that's interesting, Paul. Where did you see this? I was really curious about specs so I did a Google search and got this: http://www.hydrogencarsnow.com/blog2...rogen-scooter/

    Hydrogen? Sounds potentially dangerous.

but 60 miles trumps the 40 of my ebike.

That looks awesome. I would buy one if the price was right.
I can't see how the H2 powers the rear wheel. No second chain or electric motor?!?

The motor could be in the bottom bracket??? Or maybe jet powered! Terry

    Re: H2 bike

Photographed in the FoS-Tech pavilion at Goodwood festival of speed, an exhibition of clean(er) technologies.

H2 from the gas cylinder behind the seat tube goes into the fuel cell at the rear, electricity goes to the speed controller on the handlebars to the front wheel electric hub motor. I suspect there may be a rechargeable battery in there too as there's a battery gauge on the left by the brake and the usual thumb throttle on the right..

Thanks for the update PAul. That little bike is awesome.

Unfortunately it seems to be an attention-grabbing technology demonstrator.
Their main focus is larger power units it seems.
