    Rare Critter

Got this shot today of the uncommon and rarely photographed "Banded Kiwifruit". Not the best shot because as soon as it spotted me it scurried back off down its tunnel. These are quite rare I believe but are closely related to the common Kiwifruit that we domesticated and now export to the world.

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...

Excellent and courageous capture! You must have been very stealth to put the sneak on the rare BK

Thanks Ken, Rick. Cara, Saif, And Mike, really enjoy doing this sort of thing, the trick is not to go too crazy.
