    Seattle M's game

My Sister gave me some tickets for last Saturday's game. She said they were good seats 12th row. I checked online what the Stadium's policy for cameras was, 200mm lenses ok as long as they don't interfere with other fans. These were shot with my Canon 30 D and 70-200 F2.8 except B/W Stadium shot. The pitcher with the ball on his finger tips was the only spray and pray shot, timing for that shot takes some practice.
Thanks for looking and comments welcome, Jimmy B

Nice shots, Jimmy. That fingertip ball one is cool and I like the one of Ichiro bunting.
Haven't been up to a ball game in several years but I was impressed with Safeco field after the dome. Liked how you could walk around the whole park and not miss any action on the field.

Nice photos but I'm seeing some artifacts. It looks like vertical lines through the photos. It's most noticeable on the second image. Are these hosted here? Saved for web?

I think its called a backstop. Notice there are horizontal lines too.
Not as noticeable on last two because he is zoomed in closer.

The backstop netting was in the way for the home plate shots, the pitcher was a clear shot.
Here is a wide angle view from the seats.

Geez Jimmy, those were some fantastic seats and of course KILLER shots! Very impressive.

I'm glad you posted the lens info for Safeco. I was originally told "no white lenses". I'm happy to know I can drag mine in the next time we go.
    It's not blurry. It's bokeh.

    Congrats on featured, Jimmy.
I meant to mention how the b/w conversion of the stadium makes it look like an old stadium.
    Pretty cool!

Shootme, Jetta and Frog Thanks for the comments! Frog the B&W was shot B&W the wonders of DSLRs. Jetta, if I get a chance again with those seats I may take the 100-400? One of the ushers actually got out of my way when I was getting some shots of JR.
