    Regatta

Happened upon a high school tournament on a river near my office this afternoon. Figured I'd try shooting a couple heats with 1/20s shutter speed for something different.

A panning nightmare as each boat lurches at different times with each stroke, each rower slides on their own track, oars rotate off-axis, yada yada yada.

But it was fun to watch

    Re: Regatta

Great work Loupey! Looks like you pulled it off in the first shot. The shutter speed was slow enough to motion blur all the people in the boats except the center, extra bonus was that the boat in the center is also is in focus.
