    pure luck?

    Technique breathing and bracing - 1/8 second hand held, not the easiest of shots.
    New F1 seatbelt supplier was the reason for it ;)

    you must have the hands of a surgeon to get kind of stability.
    mostly Nikon gear

    Tuck the left elbow in, rest on chocolate belly, breathe normally (don't hold your breath and start shaking!), don't tense up - relax! and squeeze the button. I find it works best on breathing out.

    I find that very difficult to do even with proper breathing techniques. I once had an instructor and he can shoot around 1/4-1/8th of a second and get tack sharp images. I still cant believe it since he has Parkinson's disease.
