    Europe in the Atumn

I dont know what you think about it, but I think this time in Europe is a really good time for photography.

All those shades of yellow and brown on my color pictures and the amount of leaves on the ground in the B&W.. I just love it.
Even though you hardly get any light at all (I work with 400 ASA almost 100% of the time) this time of year is just the time of the year that makes me go outside and spend 4 films on.

What do you find interesting about this time?

    Welcome ziggy...

It's nice to have a member (and viewpoint) from Scandinavia. Have you lived there your whole life?

You make a good point about the seasons. Regional weather at different times of year often gives a distinct "flavor" to photography, both in outdoor shots as well as window scenery in indoor ones.

Personally, I like a series of shots of the same scene taken at different times of the year. It highlights how the same spot can take on various emotions simply by the way everything looks and changes.

And yes, the starkness of autumn or winter can make a bw shot wonderfully abstract...

Make sure to start posting in our gallery if you have any intersting shots you'd like to share.

    Re: Welcome ziggy...

I lived most of my life in Israel, actually, but I started photography in Denmark.
