    Mesmerized

Found this guy sleeping/sunning himself on top a mousoleum one cold morning.

Odd set of elements. Your thoughts gratefully appreciated.

Interesting image but the light is so harsh.
    No, I DON'T need that.

Focus appears soft on the subject. I see the appeal though.

I agree about the light being harsh, although if it wasn't, I don't know if the roof's tiles would be as interesting.

Ditto... but maybe if the tiles were not as interesting I would have noticed the raccoon sleeping though. In fact, if you had not noted that he was there I might not have noticed right away.

    Re: Mesmerized

MB1 - most definitely harsh. Thanks for looking.

poker - I agree, not as sharp as it could/should be. Thank you for commenting.

CaraRose - I appreciate your comments. I think you are right about the tiles in the harsh light.

amorton1437 - your feedback is duly noted. Thanks!

Actually, this works for me. My eyes immediately followed the lines up to the top and saw the raccoon. You did well with the composition. He/she was thinking outside the box - found a quiet rest spot with no one but you to bother him......good catch!

Pretty interesting shot. Might have been pretty tough to get a better shot considering the circumstances. A bit soft but I like it anyways.

    Re: Mesmerized

Liz & yetishot - it was indeed a grab shot and I'm glad the image worked to some degree. Thank you for commenting on the lines as it was the patterns and composition that I was mostly focusing on in this shot. Thanks again!
