I really like that photo, reminds of a place up here in NH that I pass every so often.

Wonder if you could only buy .99 worth at a time?? Neat photo. I find this to be a pleasing color scheme. And old places are fascinating to me.

    Re: No gas today

This is the kind of photo I always think I'd like to take, but my attempts never turn out this good. The snow makes it different and adds to the Rocwellian feel.

It could use a little more contrast, IMHO.

Thanks for sharing. I have a few of my own shots up for critique should you care to comment.

That is a nice shot. Almost begs for some texture that makes it look like it was taken 100 years ago. But it is really nice as it is.

I think it is a very good shot as well. I wouldn't change a thing.

I like the shot but also think it could use just a little more contrast. I would also like to see a little more room around this and not have it crowd the frame as much, Jeff

    Re: No gas today

Here's the original frame with no crop and more contrast. When I start adding contrast I find I need to either add some fill light to bring out some detail or brighten the whole frame which takes away from the contrast adjustment. Adding contrast is also increasing the halo effect I am getting at the tree line. It's hard finding a happy medium.

I definitely like having more room. It doesn't seem near as crowded and now the trees on the top are not cut off, Jeff
