    Re: Untitled

This is a very nice shot... here are some thoughts for what their worth:

1- I am uncertain how dark or bright this appears on other screens, and while it is dark enough on mine, I still see the edge of the door to the left edge of the frame, so a tighter crop, very slight, would be nice. Also, there is the light at the top, if you follow the white column next to the car all the way up, you can see a white circle. you could tighten the crop from the top too, without affecting the overall image.

2- I am unsure as to what the subject is, and what it is I should be looking at. The car is a wonderful element, but I also feel drawn to look at the alley. And when I am focusing on the alley, I feel drawn to the car.... not sure if there's anything that can be done in post, or a reshoot is in order.

Personally, I like the colors and the lighting... especially the lighting. and I do think it works... it just needs a context... maybe if this were seen with a series of photos, it might be a wee bit more appreciated...

Anyway, nice work as always... thanks for sharing... and hope the above helps!

    Cheers,
    Marc

Nice. Has a "Starry Night" feel, or maybe like the Dick Tracy movie in a way. The wide-angle has distorted the scene a touch - particularly the car seems stretched a little too much. Still a very, very nice image.

Thanks for sharing. I have a couple of photos on this board for critique, should you care to comment.

Its a nice shot and well executed if you ask me, but as Marcus said there is something missing in the composition....a clear subject probably...I also think is a good idea to make a series out of this.
Nit pick....crop a bit more to the left.

I like the shot. I also love the feel of it. The deep blue of the sky, the bright colours of the buildings, clarity of the puddleare marvelous. I really need to take another photoshop class ;) Nice work! I haz teh jealouz.
