Sony/Minolta - way more gear than talent.
I'm sorry about that. He looks like Blackie, a stray that moved into my parents house years ago. He used to beam at people as they came into the kitchen from his favourite place on top of the refrigerator. Partly he was hoping someone would give him something to eat but I think he just liked people.
Right now I'm trying to make progress with the two wild cats that haunt the car park of the residence where I live. I've been stopping to talk to them for months on my way up to my apartment. The male thinks I'm silly but his sister is just starting to talk a little bit. No way to approach them, though - unless you're the Cat Lady who gives them what they love most - food.

Not buying any more gear this year. I hope
Thanks, its hard it right, my heart hurts
Those cats are so pretty! Yeah, I would be giving them food! Groucho found me when he was about 5 weeks (at the most) old. A total delight to me

My sympathies for sure. God must have been reclaiming some good pets this weekend...I lost my ferret Jimmi last night. It's comforting to know that the joy and love we share with our pets vastly overshadows the pain we feel when their time has come.
Very sorry to hear this Lori. I feel your pain, my Trixie has been about the only "constant" in my life over the past 11 yrs and I try to make the most of it every day, but dread the thought of the time I'll need to say goodbye. Be strong, I'm sure Groucho is doing just fine.
Sorry to hear that, Lori.
Angie saw the picture and said "he's a fine looking cat", then I had to break the news he's joined Loseley.
I know from losing our cats over the years how hard it is, with Loseley dying in my lap.
Hugs
Thank you all so much, jetrim hit the nail on the head...my pets are my "constant" in life. Thank you Paul and Angie, I rememer you losing her. And Frog, thank goodness for what we do, I have memories in my heart and in my photos I just wasnt ready for the "memory" part yet...I guess Groucho is needed to keep Jimmi company
