One from yesterday

Well our little guy is getting over pink eye (in both eyes!) and there is a beautiful field of mustard weeds growing, and I've been itching to shoot something there the past year or so. Yesterday the wife & I decided to head over there and do some quick family photos. I must say, I love taking family photos, but not my own

Here is one that I really liked. Depending on time I'll post a couple more if I can get them edited.

What a great place to shoot! He is adorable My eye is drawn to the harsh brightness of the sky however, maybe a little more crop there? Bless his heart, hope he feels better soon!

I thought it was a pretty creative shot before I'd scrolled down far enough to see your boy.
I love how he is centered and framed by the trees and the shallow dof really works here.

Thats one of the reason I liked this photo is you can't see it in his eyes. I'm hoping to keep working on this set of photos today but we'll see since I've got a few other biz shoots to go over first.

That is a great image, the scene is very nice andIlike a lot the composition and overall lighting.
...me being picky, I think the DOF blur is a bit to much, but that's a matter of taste.

THe blur is from the joy of shooting at F2 (or 2.2 I believe)

I really like the composition and the framing of the chap in the mustard, but that sky needs a lot of toning down to concentrate on the boy. The eye is distracted by the sky in this view. Some additional selective pp'ing of the sky should be able to sort this.
