    Gallery multipule images

How do I go about removing the extra copies of an image stored in my gallery, for some reason there seems to be multipule copy's of some the images . I tried to delete one of them but only succeeded in removing the thumbnail image.

If you upload an image to the gallery and then to a thread say Viewfinder or something else it will be in the gallery twice. You might consider something like photobucket and just cut and paste the image code in your thread and then it will not wind up in your member gallery multiple times.

There's a checkbox on the forum upload that stops the image from being uploaded to the gallery. I prefer that people upload their forum images to the gallery as well - as long as they haven't already posted them there. It builds up your member gallery and ads more good content to the site. Sometimes, when I have an image I want to really show off, I'll upload it on the forums and then I'll edit it in the gallery and upload a larger version there. Strategize...

    Re: Gallery multipule images

Thanks for trying to help but unfortunately I'm still having the same issues with the gallery storing 2 or 3 copies of the same image. When I try to delete one of the copies they all get deleted. Thoughts very much appreciated
Greg not quite sure what you mean here, could you please explain further.
