    In the wall

I wanted something more than just a picture of the car.
So I deliberately picked the two officials to frame it.
    Does it work?

I'm wondering if I should crop from the bottom to remove the sunlit grass.
    Opinions on the crop?

    Re: In the wall

When the grass at the bottom is gone my eyes go straight to the car when I look at the photograph. It just looks distracting or busy when it's there, Jeff

    Re: In the wall

I do like the full size, but I do find the bright green to be distracting.. I like being able to see the full "frame" of the official/firefighters back.. I feel cropping out the bright spots would make the main subject too centered overall.

Perhaps a bit of burning and/or some cloning could tone down the bright spot some might help.

I do like the officials framing the subject.
    Cheers,
    Greg

I really like the framing. Works well.
I think getting them in better focus would help keep the grass from being a distraction.
The guys are bit too out of focus.
    Look through a glass eye.
    Give it a few tries.

    Re: In the wall

The only thing I would crop is the top right corner, the blue seats. Other than that, I think it's great!

I don't know quite what you mean, Tony.
Top right is a white safety crew helmet, top left is a black cap.
Do you want to crop and show me what you meant?

    Re: In the wall

I think he means that sliver of a blue seat beyond the white helmet thats peaking in. I agree with grandpaw, the grass distracts a bit, and a simple crop up would make the subject more prominent. I think the out of focus officials works here.
