A day's work

The boys letting the house (short let) didn't cut the grass, so the letting agency wanted us to clear it up before the next students move in.
In the process I discovered grass frogs of all sizes, a toad, and a bug I've never seen before.

Job now done, frogs and toad freed from their temporary prison in the wheelbarrow where they were incarcerated to prevent them acquainted with the lawnmower blades.

Oh and on the way home, one of next door's flowers.

Great shots! All of them are excellent - my favorites are the last two. I love that sweet little frog standing there looking around. And that flower is awesome.

GH-1 with 14-140
I'm not as happy with it as I am with the E-P1.
I think I am sold on body stabilisation over mega OIS.
The 45-200 appears a little soft on both bodies.
It may have to go back for replacement - or it could be operator error.
I'm used to 1/focal length not 1/2x focal length as minimum shutter speed.

Wow! I didn't realize the GH1 was out already. Looks like a winner to me - at least from your pics.

You said the 45-200 is a little soft on both bodies. Would you check my images above from the same lens? Are they comparable to what you're getting with yours? I'm asking because you have the same lens. My shots look okay to me but I had to work at getting decent shots at 200mm due to my slight camera shake problem. I can't decide whether to keep this lens or not. (just reply here - no need to reply on my post), so I'd like to get your honest assessment.

On the E-P1 tonight, it looked much more stable with both mega OIS and in-camera stabilisation.
On the GH-1 I only have the mega OIS and it's not as good in the viewfinder.

No Olympus micro 4/3 zooms that I know of yet.
Panasonic works OK, but OIS drains battery quicker.
Must buy more batteries

Biggest problem with E-P1 is finding the butterfly I'm trying to photograph at 200mm.
And when manual focussing it's almost impossible hand held.
