Thread: Swallows

    Swallows

    Except cave swallow that we don't have here in the north, I saw seven species of swallows - including purple martins - yesterday at the same location.

    The first three have similar look and I hope I've ID them ok :

    Wow - such diversity and nice images to boot.

    I still like the violet green the most - looks so exotic in comparison to the others.

    Thanks folks !

    My personal favorite is also the violet-green, which only appears in the west according to my bird guide.

    Now I just have to get some better purple martin shots. Thanks god they are bigger
