    Tulips

We had Spring here for about 1 day, now it is back to cold and wet.

    What do you think?

Hmmmm...reds seem blown out. This is just too "in your face" and unnatural looking for me.

I like the filled framed and the colors, but the processing doesn't work for me.

How did you process this to come up with this affect?

I decided to process for the green and ignore the red. I kind of like the look although I do agree the the reds are way strong-I was going for more of a "Painting" look rather than a "Natural" photograph thing.
    No, I DON'T need that.

    Re: Tulips

I hope you will get more than just one day of Spring because those tulips could be shot over and over again --- they're such good subjects. I know you were trying for a special effect but, its not my cup of rice. I'd prefer to see the tulips clear and real. Please try again and share MORE with us.
