    Landscape-with-sport I like !
    If you shot in RAW mode, the you should be able to recover the blown out white of the broken wave.

    Awesome!

    Awesome - I think that is the right word. That's a huge slab of ocean and I love the composition. It's great the way you use the palm tree as a compositional element. This is really a near-perfect sports landscape. This would fit perfectly in any surf magazine. Thanks for sharing it with us. I think smartwombat should pick this one for the week's Featured Photo!

    I'm really happy you chose this one as Featured Photo, Paul. And I'm even happier it got posted here. I'm actively working to get the word out about this forum. I want a lot more people using it and a lot more variety of photos. We've got a lot of knowledge here. But not that many people realize there's a good little sports community hidden on the site

    It's a great shot, but that bush in the bottom left corner is rather distracting.
