    CIFL Arena Football

Shot the first home game tonight and used the Canon 300 2.8L thoughout. Hand held it the whole night (ouch). Shot at ISO 1600, aperture priority of 2.8 which gave me a varying shutter speed of 1/250 to 1/400.

I like the 4th one where you have captured the quaterback's expression.

Good to see some different work on here, Chris. You did a great job with it, and it looks like your equipment did well too - the first shot looks just a touch motion blurred, but the rest look very sharp and give great insight to the spirit of the game.

Great pictures, I really like the one of the quarterback, I feel like I'm running the pass play and just made eye contact with him, just in time to receive the ball.
    Nice job!

These pictures are great. I find the best sports pics are the ones where you want to see waht happens right after. These pics convey just that. I want to see what happened right after the pic was taken. Nice job.

I hope the 1DmkIV or whatever they call it has the Iso Variable mode like Nikon and Pentax.
