Chinese New Year (for non-Chinese)

I went to the Chinese New Year parade in Paris last Sunday. There is a "Chintown" on the south-eastern part of the city but of course it's not only people of Chinese origin who live there and a party is a party. I spend a while picking out the participants who - were different from the others.

Sorry this has been a bit long, but I had to search a bit for more general photos. When I go out with a theme in mind, I tend to stick with it. I've been on this one for a couple of years. Next year I'm going to do the beautiful Chinese girls.

All photos on D300 with 18-200. This year I stuck with available light - it was a bright day - except for the one of the guy in red with the buildings behind. Notice how the D300 has perfectly the flash on the foreground with the sunlit buildings in the background
