    Pond Hockey

    Coach readies the squad.

    Drop the puck!

    Not just for boys.

    Down goes Frazier.

    Battling for the puck.

Thanks to Red Bull for sponsoring the rink, providing gear to use as well as providing all the free Red Bull you could drink.

Nice subject here hockey on a frozen pond! I learned to skate on a frozen pond 30 years ago and that is skating in it's true form.

    Re: Pond Hockey

This brings me back about 30 years.... I learned and played hockey on the open ice of Lake St Clair here in Michigan. The first broken bone was from "pond" hockey.

These are some great pictures that take an older (not too old) back to his youth.

    Nice job...

These are great, I love the action and sense of fun they portray. The blurred skaters with the Red Bull sign in the back is my favorite.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Very cool shots! Lots of creative angles and all really give a feel for the event. I love how in the image of the blurred players your can see the light bending around the players leg and distorting the Red Bull logo.

Gotta hand it to all the guys and gals who came out to play. Driving into town it was 1 degree on the bank sign and I'm sure it was another five degrees colder with the wind chill.
