Agreed on the comp. Love the rich weed colors, too.

thx Ron and Greg..I ride by this scene on my yamaha every weekend and have always glanced over with this shot in mind. I'm fairly pleased with it ..perhaps a sunset try with more golden light at my back.

    Re: Buoys

    Very good composition and color.
You must have been able to use a pretty fast shutter as I don't see motion blur in the grass.

    Re: Buoys

I like the composition, i think you nailed it. The only thing that bothers me a bit is the DOF, I wish more of the photo was in focus.

    Re: Buoys

thx for responses. I went back and found one I took at f22 as opposed to the f10 up above. I think being so close to the reeds and the wind made it hard to get much clarity in background. Anyway heres the f22 shot.

    Re: Buoys

I like this picture just like it is. For me the buoys led me to the grass in the front. I also like this picture with the bottom cropped about half way between the first and second buoy from the front or bottom. When I did this it just reversed the way I looked at the picture and the buoys led my eye to the pier in the background. I like it both ways, Jeff
