    The Shell

Hi guys. Did this in my garden. I loved the position of this minute shell between the leaves of a rose. Not entirely happy with it.... What do you think? thank you for your input.

Nice shot very abstract feel to it. I would have changed the angle, the shell looks a bit flat it would work better for me if it had a bit more dimension.

Ya I agree. Maybe a smaller aperture would have helped.

The idea is sound, but I agree w/ Tiff that a bit more DOF would have made this a better shot

Not only more DOF, but possibly better focus and/or less camera shake, as I am not sure any spot in the image is truly in focus. You might be able to sharpen it up a bit and see what you get.

Nice colors btw. I think I might lighten the shot a tad too, say 1/3rd of an f stop.

I agree, smaller aperature. Shell is too sunk into the flower.
