    Since it seems to be important here, what I used, how it was shot, etc.

    Canon EOS 10D
    EF 200mm f/2.8L II
    ISO 800, f/4, 1/320, RAW

    Nice shots! I wouldn't know how to act with some daylight football. I've only had one varsity and a couple of JV games in natural light this year.

    Great timing and super color on these. Wonderful additions to the sports forum. Thanks for sharing. Too bad the football season is drawing to a close for most of us.

    No, he dropped it. It would have been a much better picture if he wound up making the catch. That's like the first picture of a play like that, a leaping catch attempt, or almost any catch attempt, that I remember ever getting in focus.

    If he would have caught it, he would have remembered it for the rest of his live as a GREAT catch. Your pic would have solidified it.
