    Photographers at work

I was surprised at how the guy with the Nikon has left his lenses uncapped.
I have so much trouble with dust I keep the rear caps on.

    Re: Photographers at work

I know a local wedding and event photographer that does the same thing. When he's shooting he almost always leaves both caps off his lenses, which I just couldn't do. His lenses get very dusty compared to mine, but to his credit it doesn't seem to really be affecting his images..

    Re: Photographers at work

First thing I thought when I saw the lenses as well, no caps...an the big one is probably a 300mm or more, costly (at least originally). Looks like the guy in the first one is shooting you and probably has a post on another site saying something like Photographers at Work?

Either he's just shot, or just picking it up, or it's a point and pray !

    Re: Photographers at work

He was a professional photographer hired by my sons school to to take photo's at their annual carnival day. If memory serves me right he was just about to shoot, there were some people giving a demo of Judo in the court yard.
