Waterpark With Olympus Stylus 1030 SW

I took the waterproof Olympus Stylus 1030 SW to a waterpark this weekend. I've enjoyed using this camera for the few months that I've had it. But the waterpark was the most fun I've had with it yet. The more photos I took, the better it got. I took over 100 that day. Here are just a few of the ones that I think are the most fun.

It gets hot here in the summer

The waterpark wasn't actually very conducive to underwater photos. Swimming in the wave pool you get clobbered by people on tubes and most of the time you're standing in line or on water slides. But if you check my gallery or the Olympus Stylus 1030 SW gallery, you'll find underwater photos taken with the camera. I sent it to Hawaii with Valerie (aquadog) and she did some snorkeling with it. And I took it to a family pool party a few weeks ago. It's been in the water a bunch of times now and it's still going strong. It's a super fun camera to have around.

Thats what I thought. I was going to go there once, but there was tons of people, so we just hung out at the BYU creamery with friends.

Good wholesome family fun when it's 100+ out. It's gotta be crowded

Great pics PJ. It does look like there was something of a theme to your pictures the same girl keeps showing up in all of them.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Tough day at the office, eh?

I see the new 1050SW has a retail price lower than what most places are selling 1030SW's for - think I'll hold out, the touch pad that works with gloves would be nice to have.

Great application of what sounds like a really fun camera. Does it have video capabilities? Waterslide video would be pretty cool.

    The hot tub possibilities...:blush2:
Please ask before editing my photos, I'll say yes

I like to take the pictures...

    Hi
I´m from brazil and I need to know if my 1030 sw is broken...
The pictures shot in high speed drive mode are very different than shot in normal mode.
The pictures seem like cellphone pictures.
Is it normal or is my camera broken?
