Those are great photos, adamsti. Excellent focus - always the toughest part about shooting racing. Tell us about your gear and your focus technique? What lens did you use the most? Do you prefocus and shoot bursts or do you use predictive AF?
I use AI Servo, with the exception of the Playmate, that was One Shot. #1 is handheld with a rented 500 f/4L, #2 is my 300 f/2.8L handheld, #3 is the 500 again, kneeling with a monopod, #4 is with the 300 again, and the Playmate is with the 70-200 f/2.8, wide open at 2.8. They were shot with a mixture of the mkIIN, and the 40D.
