Back From Alaska

Just spent two weeks in Alaska, its an amazing trip to go on if you want to use lots of photography on your trip. I ended up taking 21GB in raw pics, here are a few that I like:

Self shot with long shutter speed:

Super rare sighting of lynx at Denali National Park:

Re: Back From Alaska

Wow, what a fantastic series of shots. The lynx seems to have its eye on a beaver in that shot.

Re: Back From Alaska

What a cool eagle-stare!

I like the logs in a stream shoot as well. Alaska is on my to-go-someday list as well. Looks like you had a terrific time. Thanks for sharing these with us.

I agree with everyone here, what a wonderful series of shots. I really like the way you captured the water in the stream shots.

Talking Re: Back From Alaska

dlively..., great images, I really liked the first one of the eagle. I have been as far as the Yukon, but never quite gotten to Alaska. Scenery very similar, overpwering. My wife and I have thought we may take a cruise to Alaska in the next few years, I am sure the scenery would be similar to what you have shown. Thanks for these and let us see some more when you have them ready.

Cheers,

WesternGuy

Re: Back From Alaska

Outstanding shots, hard to pick a favorite. but I lean toward the eagle stare. Perhaps he had you in his sights. Hope to get there next year via a cruise up the inland passage. Need to buy some sort of wide angle lens for landscape, etc. I am assuming that you were on a guided/escorted trek

A very good series! That eagle close-up is impressive. A beautiful pretty self-shot, too. Congrats on featured photos !!
