    Yacht photo shoot tomorrow

Tomorrow I am going to shoot a complete set of pictures of a 145ft yacht. I am supposed to take outside photos and of every room inside. I am looking forward to the project and if anyone has suggestions or ideas please post you thoughts. I will be taking them tomorrow afternoon, Jeff

Sounds like fun, Jeff. Well, bring the tripod for sure. You may need to use your SB600 flash for the inside shots if there are rooms that are not receiving even lighting from the windows. If you do, bounce your flash off of a wall behind you and adjust your compensation with some test shots to get that even and natural lit look.
Don't forget to get the close ups of interesting detail and trimmings etc of the boat.
    Good luck!

Just make sure the flash doesn't show in the image - thinking of the light itself reflecting off a window or in a mirror, etc. I sometimes see this with wedding shots and it doesn't look good. Either move yourself or the flash - with the SB600 you should be able to do wireless and hide it behind something if you need. Other than that, I'd probably look for an unusual perspective. In a case like this, maybe some outside shots from a higher elevation if that's possible. Sounds like a fun job!

Thanks for the tips! I am taking my laptop with me so that I can retake any photos with problems. I am anxious to see how the pictures come out. If I can get permission I will post a few pictures. Well, I'm on my way so wish me good luck, Jeff
