    why I don't take my Good Camera with me when I ride

    I've gone though a Few ( cheap ) Point and Shoots.

    well I did in my Little HP

    Does it still work? If it does and works right I'd still use it. Looks like one of old point and shoots after I dropped it (it was a sony cybershot), it still worked so I still used it.

    You just need to practice not crashing while you are carrying camera gear...

    I took my dslr and external flash ($2000 investment) on a ride two days after I got it.. then, two days later I took it on a night ride.

    I bought the sagemax insurance from B&H when I got all my junk, so I'd hope they'd honor the warranty (it said on the B&H website it'd cover accidental damage).

    I think I've taken it on every ride since then... One practice I have is to take off the backpack when I ride something risky, and get the backpack when I'm done, though it's not always practical do to this.
