    alternative viewpoint

End of day 3 at Hockenheim I was knackered.
So there I was, sitting outside Mercedes hospitality, minding my own business.
Then Mathias Lauda comes out for a drink on the terrace with some friends.
Of course he never gets the chance as the fans pounce.
    With me underneath !

So I just had to get this shot ...

    Re: alternative viewpoint

I really like it Paul. That's definitely not your average viewpoint... but I think you did a fine job of capturing the eager fan and the willing (if reluctant) race driver.

Paul I like the angle you got. I feel bad for them(drivers) all ways hounded , but it is a fan driven sport.
I must be getting old I remember watching his Dad drive...................

Ah yes, got a shot of his Dad.
Not sure if I got a shot of his big brother, since he's not a driver.

    Paul,

Nice viewpoint, I like the fact you have another camera taking a shot from the normal perspective.

    Re: alternative viewpoint

As I said in the first message, I took advantage of what happened, picked up the 1DSmkII with 24-70 and took the shot. I had to wait until there was only one fan in his face rather than a whole mob.
