Ok, not only has it been snowing on and off all day today, but yesterday I went for a bike ride in snow, hail, and sun. Very interesting. And excellent for photos! When we were getting started and the snow was really coming down, I was having second thoughts. But it was sooooo worth it in the end.
All photos were taken my current point-and-shoot test camera, the waterproof and shockproof, 10-megapixel Olympus Stylus 1030 SW. I think they've done a very good job improving this camera! Of course, these photos aren't right out of the camera. But the files it's delivering are very workable. I'm very pleased.
hmmm...glad it's you and not us...we've been lucky since being back in WI...no snow anywhere!!!! whew!!! hehe
Great shots, as usual...I love your trail shots!!!
The last pic is phenomenal! Much better then the feet. :P
It's not blurry. It's bokeh.

John, we have been getting dumped on with rain and my back yard looks like a forest. I am going to cut the grass with the weed whacker just to get thru it. :yikes:
Amazing shots. Considering your scenic locale, I'm surprised we don't see more photos from you.

Check my gallery. Lately I've been doing a lot of review stuff and so my photos are going straight to the gallery. I haven't had much time for posting on the forums.
Nice - in the second to last shot, the older 720SW wouldn't have done anywhere near as good of a job. I know there's a lot of PP going on here, but getting a useable backlit file is a bit of a challenge with it.

Yes, the image quality from the 1030 SW is much better. However, you're right about the post processing. There was quite a bit with this photo. And I took 4 or 5 photos to get an exposure that I knew I could work with. But that's not really a big deal. That's how good photos are made. I would have done it the same way with a digital SLR.
