    Any advice for extreme sports photography shots?

    Hey, im doing extreme sports photography for an A level project. Just wondering if anyone had any advice for either street bmx and skateboarding photography or skiing and snowboarding photography, cheers George

    On a real basic level, my advice to you would be to go out and shoot to see if you like what you get. Then post some pics up here to see if we can help you with them.

    Maybe you want to give us a bit more information to help us give you answers you're looking for?

    What equipment do you have available to you for these shots?

    Do you have friends/people going to ride and perform stunts for you?

    Are you planning for day time or night time shots?

    You can always go to the store and look at magazines related to the sport you want to shoot for ideas. The magazine will give you ideas about angles, lighting, shutter speed, and aperture. Something you may want to do though is break the norm and look for different angles, lighting, or use different techniques to acquire your shots.

    Welcome to the forum George,
    We have a number of BMX & Skateboard photographers who can help you out. As previously posted though more info would help and some examples of what you have done would get you some feedback as well. Also what camera & lenses etc are you using?

    also, will you be open to spending money to get new equipment, or do you want to shoot with what you have?
