    The King Experiance

    Hi All...

I need some help if possible. My brother in-law went to MIS for the Petty Driving Experiance. He was able to drive up to 160MPH, but he is a wimp and only went 147 at top speed. I took some pics for him, but I didn't do such a great job (this is my 2nd time taking pics of race cars).

I wanted to put a picture in a frame (nothing fancy). I took this picture and my DOF was off. The background was distracting and I layered it and made background B/W and added some blur. I put car back in it and added text.

Is there too much blur? Should I go with motion blur? Sould I have left background in color?

This is the only one that was "on the finish line"...

Opinions and comments are greatly appreciated..

    Thanks...

    Phil

I think it's the wrong type of blurr for the type of shot it is. It should also show a little motion blurr.

    Thanks JS..

I think I will scrap this try and go for a different shot... I was hoping to "make something out of nothing".....

    Back to the drawing board....

You can do it, there is a motion blurr you can use, I just don't remember the setup for it and haven't used it in a couple years.

I tried again with different blur. I used motion blur this time. I forgot how much, but what do you all think.... Does this look better?
