On the theme of oddities – here are mine from this week of scrimmage coverage:







and these were not just me catching the counting up - it's the score he had up in a high school game for a few minutes.

Oh great, first they ban smoking, next they will ban dogs because they take a dump.... whats next, cats?

We had a soccer scoreboard that read 99 - 98 for about ten minutes as the score keeper got all messed up. Then there was the baseball score keeper who really had the scteboard confused -21 to 12 in the 15th inning and 45 errors. To this day no one, even the scoreboard manufactuer knows how he got -21. They finaly reset the thing and put the right score up 1 to 2 in the 5th and 4 errors.... oh well, thats progress

Here's a odd one, look at the cone/slope of this field!

If it slopes towards the endzones and sidelines thats ok, but if it slopes towards midfield that would be odd, hard to tell from this shot which way it's going.

it slopes to the visiting sidelines - like most fields. I just thought it added to the effect that all the players have bent knees so it looks so much worse.

Ah, OK, I couldn't tell, but then I was half asleep and now moreso since I just got home an hour ago from a fire at a school in our county.
