Very nice, under those conditions I throw an awful lot of mis-panned shots.

Wow...some of the best drag racing images that I have seen.

Did you do much in Post processing?

Wow that's some action. Nice work. Love your great color under those conditions.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

I did have to add one stop of exp. adjustment in processing. In retrospect I should have bumped the ISO up on more click, but I did not want any more noise than I have now. That was the only option I had, I did not want to go any lower than 1/125, and I was already wide open at f/2.8.

ORPI? What's that? The biggest track in Indiana is IRP, home of the US Nationals. I used to go every year, but it's too close to the Reno Air Races, can't afford to do both. I only live 15 minutes from the Joliet track.

P.S., It's Tim Adams, I know the username confuses many!! LOL.

Ummm, ORPI IS IRP.... the name changed when Orielly Auto Parts paid a bunch of $$ to the NHRA (who owns the property) and now it's Orielly Raceway Park at Indianapolis, hence ORPI, although it's REALLY in Clermont, not Indianapolis, not even the same county..... So are you thouroughly confused now Tim?

What about using flash? Or does that confuse the timing equipment? The IHSAA claims it messes up the timing gear they use for swimming, yet it has no effect for track and they use the exact same sensors...go figure.
