    Elevation Equipment?

This weekend I shot the Bolder Boulder 10k race for a company and they had me stand on a step ladder 4' high. I shot 7000+ photos in less than 4 hours. It almost crippled my back.

Is there some specialized equipment that is cheap and easy to transport that would allow me to sit and still have a spot for a monopod?

My obvious solution is two ladders with a board making a cheap scaffoling. But I'm curious if there are other options.

Yeah, Lowes sells some inexepensive scaffolding and or ladders that may work for your needs.

    Check out: http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?actio...5287-287-PS-48

$99 for 4' scaffold with 500lb limit. They have some ladders that can fold into all kinds of positions as well and be used as scaffolds. I have one of the latter but may get one of these scaffolds this summer to use at various places.

    You Go Rich!
I hope this was lucrative endeavor!
JS's suggestion sounds like a good one to me, certainly better than what you were provided with.
    Good Luck!
