    Oooohhhh so close!

Top of the 8th, 2 on, 2 out......if he makes this catch it's out #3 . Unfortunately he didn't, and the visitors squeaked a run in on the next pitch and won 1-0.
Also unfortunate for this kid is the fact he struck out three times.....and his father is the head coach His dad saw the picture and said "delete it".....are you kidding, I showed it to "mom" and she loved it

Love it John. These are the real fun shots to catch. It takes being in the right spot and that's just not always possible. With this one everything worked to a T.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Agree with Larry. That was some fine shot you got there, John.

Thanks OT, I just wish the umpire wasn't there. I cropped him out in one version but it just didn't work with his legs back there so I just left him in.

GREAT picture !!! I love the look on his face. I think it captures the effort and determination, even if he did miss the catch.

Thanks ciddog91, yeah, thats what I noticed first, then the ball, it's a rare shot to get his face as he's always hiding from the camera......I can't wait to catch him at the prom
