    Wide Angle Suggestion/Challenge

I thought it would be very interesting to have a thread dedicated to photos with wide angle lenses of say 28mm and less.

For those of you without super-wa lenses, you can suggest ideas of different angles to go with the "challenge". People can use the ideas as inspiration and give their own twist to things.

Loupey posted in another thread, the following ideas which I thought were quite cool. (hope you dont mind me reposting quotes Loupey)

Or find a scene which allows you to split the image exactly in half for a earth/sky or sky/water theme.

An approaching electrical storm would be awesome too.

    2) same but inside a cavernous building (like the capital building)

    ...

Let me know what you guys think! I think it could turn out to be an interesting thread. Should turn up some odd and interesting pictures.

Heres some wide angle shots I've taken!

This "wide angle" is a stitched composite from a regular P&S camera, before I got the wide angle conversion lens for it.

This is a great idea for a thread....i'm on it.

I also think it's a great idea for a thread! It will give me a chance to use my 10-22mm and maybe I'll come up with something other than a landscape

Great idea for a thread! I love wide angle shots Here's a shot I took last week. It's a variation of one I posted in my gallery. Taken with a Tokina 20-35mm at 20mm. Now I just need to save up for the 12-24mm

There are some great shots there. Since I don't have a real wide angle, here's a stitched version to simulate the wide angle Iens I'd like to buy

    Nikon 18-70mm

I took these a few days after getting my Nikon 18-70mm, so this was an early test of this lens. Here are a few of the shots I took at 18mm that day.

    1. Cape Lookout from the base.
    2. Cape Point from the observation deck of the lighthouse.
    3. Shackleford Banks, Beaufort, Harkers Island, and South Core Banks.
    4. Shackleford Banks - Home of the famous "Banker Ponies".
